Beer News, Misc

What do friends and rivals do when watching sports? Bet on the game of course!

What better way to do evoke a friendly wager than with a case of beer on the line. Such was the case (no pun intended) with President Obama and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper yesterday over the outcome of the USA/Canada hockey game at the Winter Olympics. With Canada taking the win in overtime, Obama is now responsible for sending over a few brews over to Harper’s side of North America. However, Obama is not just sending any beer over (read as: no beer summit Bud Light), Canada’s PM will be enjoying a case from Pennsylvania’s Yuengling! No word yet as to exactly which beer from Yuengling will be sent but rest assured, any beer from the oldest brewer in America is sure to be a hit.
