Beer News, Misc

We here at Brewnanza are always searching the web to find and bring the latest in brewery news and happenings. Aside from all the delectable brew releases (did someone say O’Dark:30?), we also seek out and study pieces on market trends and strategies to further enhance our craft beer industry knowledge. While perusing the good ol’ world wide web on my computer machine, I stumbled upon this very interesting analysis on brand marketing by Beervana’s Jeff Alworth. In what is to be an ongoing series of brand dissection, Alworth examines Rogue Ales and how its branding strategies have helped distinguish itself from the multitudes of other craft beers available in the brew enthusiastic Pacific Northwest.

Rogue communicates their brand through several modes. Visually, you could call their presentation “luxurious revolution.” The cues here seem to conflict, but keep in mind that the revolution isn’t about politics, but about the beer biz.

The rest of Alworth’s enligtening evaluation can be found here.
