Beer News, Brewery News

Fat Tire brewer New Belgium yesterday announced the debut of their Ranger India Pale Ale, perhaps because they’d like to help fight cancer (but probably because people seem to buy a lot of IPAs).

I’m a huge fan of New Belgium’s seasonal and specialty brews – I’ve thoroughly enjoyed 2Below and Mothership Wit, not to mention their entire Lips of Faith small batch line – so it’s great to finally see them tackle the leading trend in craft brewing. The American IPA has a pretty set formula, so it’ll be interesting to see if New Belgium brings anything interesting to the table with their Ranger.

Early reviews are promising!
