Beer News, Misc

Do you remember that scene in Pulp Fiction where John Travolta is telling Samuel L. Jackson that you can order a beer at McDonald’s in France? Well, soon enough the residents of Miami will get to do just that at a particular Burger King restaurant. Burger King announced that it will start selling Anheuser-Busch and MillerCoors beers at its new Whopper Bar in South Beach with the possibility of other beers to be offered in the future. Hopefully some microbrews?

A brewski at the new Whopper Bar — served in special aluminum bottles to keep them extra cold — fetches $4.25. Or, order beer as part of a Whopper combo and your bill will be $7.99 — roughly $2 more than the same combo meal with a fountain drink.

I’ll take a #1 with a beer please, hold the onions!
